[in]Corporate is a multimedia installation that explores the layering of myriad processes in the human body through eight channels of sound and over two dozen panels of painted silk. Designed collaboratively in January 2014 by composer Hannah Selin and visual artist Anne Yoncha, [in]Corporate features the voices of students and faculty at the Tower Hill School in Wilmington, Delaware.
ABOUT COMPOSER HANNAH SELIN: My compositions juxtapose electronic sounds with field recordings and interviews to imagine new and unlikely acoustic spaces, often involving community members in the creative process. In recent work with multichannel audio, I merge sounds from nature and the street with synthesized audio to blur the boundaries between self, society, and the global community, calling into question the role of increasingly comprehensive communication technologies in generating (or dismantling) these boundaries.
